Privacy policy
Last updated 3 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Coast 2 Coast Painting collects through this website and in the course of our work, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access it, correct it, unsubscribe from marketing or make a complaint.
Who we are
Coast 2 Coast Painting (ABN 95 849 303 321, QBCC licence 15274593) provides painting, epoxy flooring and pressure washing from Noosa to Coolangatta. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Coast 2 Coast Painting.
Our website is built and maintained by our web partner, The Site Plug. Where this policy says The Site Plug may use your information, that is stated clearly and, for marketing, only happens if you agree to it.
- Phone: 0437 872 981
- Email: coast2coast@gmail.com
- The Site Plug: admin.thesiteplug@gmail.com
What we collect
When you request a site visit or quote, we collect:
- your name, phone number and email address
- your suburb, the type of property and the work you need
- anything you add in the notes field, and any colour or epoxy floor you chose on the site
- whether you agreed to receive marketing, and when.
If we go on to quote or do the work, we may also collect your street address, site access details, photos of the areas to be worked on, and invoicing details. We don't take payment card details through this website.
Our website host may automatically log technical information such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure. The website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It stores one small setting in your browser so the opening animation only plays once per visit. That setting doesn't identify you.
Why we collect it
We use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a quote
- carry out the work, keep job and warranty records, and invoice you
- meet our legal, licensing and tax obligations
- send you marketing, but only if you have agreed to it (see below).
You don't have to give us your details, but without a name and phone number we can't arrange a visit or quote.
Marketing and how to unsubscribe
The quote form has a separate, optional box you can tick to receive marketing. It is not ticked for you, and your quote doesn't depend on it. If you tick it, you agree that Coast 2 Coast Painting and our web partner The Site Plug may send you marketing, such as news and offers, by email, SMS or phone.
Every marketing message will:
- clearly identify who it's from and how to contact them
- include a working way to unsubscribe.
You can also unsubscribe at any time by replying "STOP" or "unsubscribe" to any message, or by emailing coast2coast@gmail.com or admin.thesiteplug@gmail.com. We'll action unsubscribe requests within five business days. Unsubscribing from marketing won't affect your quote or any work we're doing for you.
We don't sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We only share your information when we need to:
- The Site Plug, our web partner, which runs this website and its forms, and sends marketing only to people who have agreed to it
- service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host, form and email providers (for example Google, for Gmail), and our accounting software
- tradespeople or subcontractors who help carry out your job, who only receive what they need to do it
- anyone we're required or authorised to share it with by law, such as a regulator or a court.
Information stored overseas
Some of our service providers, including email and website hosting providers, may store information on servers outside Australia, for example in the United States. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we keep it safe
Your information is kept in password-protected email accounts and business systems that only the people who need it can access. We keep it for as long as we need it for your job, warranty and our legal and tax records, then securely delete or destroy it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details above. We'll respond within 30 days. If we can't give you access, we'll explain why.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first and we'll try to resolve it within 30 days. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
